Surgery
If a pet needs to stay at Pet Doctors for the day, for surgery or another procedure, you will be fully informed about all details. Your pet will be admitted in the morning by one of our nursing team. All pets are cared for at Pet Doctors with the same high standard of pet health care. Some surgical procedures are relatively simple, others more complicated. To give you an idea of one quite common procedure, we have included photographs of a routine spaying operation for a female dog.
With all surgical procedures, we will update you during the day on your pet's progress - you can either call us or we can make a time to contact you direct. Pets are collected at a consultation, to discuss their condition with you, and we will often give printed material or other information to help you to best care for them.
If you require information about your animal's illness, check out our special client information area.
